Thankfulness

Monk-tiger
“Every day, think as you wake up, today I am fortunate to be alive, I have a precious human life, I am not going to waste it. I am going to use all my energies to develop myself, to expand my heart out to others; to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all beings. I am going to have kind thoughts towards others, I am not going to get angry or think badly about others. I am going to benefit others as much as I can.”
― Dalai Lama XIV

The Zen of Attraction by Thomas J. Leonard

1. Promise nothing. Just do what you most enjoy doing.

2. Sign nothing. Just do what doesn't require a signature of any kind.

3. Offer nothing. Just share what you have with those who express an interest.

4. Expect nothing. Just enjoy what you already have; it's plenty.

5. Need nothing. Just build up your reserves and your needs will disappear.

6. Create nothing. Just respond well to what comes to you.

7. Seduce no one. Just enjoy them.

8. Adrenalize nothing. Just add value and get excited about that.

9. Hype nothing. Just let quality sell by itself.

10. Fix nothing. Just heal yourself.

11. Plan nothing. Just take the path of least resistance.

12. Learn nothing. Just let your body absorb it all on your behalf.

13. Become no one. Just be more of yourself.

14. Change nothing. Just tell the truth and things will change by themselves.

And thanks, Tad Hargrave

The third alternative

“When you have only two alternatives to take, always take the third.” Why? Because the two alternatives presented to us are usually false alternatives. “Do you want cancer or heart attack to die from?” “Do you want the Republicans or the Democrats to tyrannize you?” Neither! We take health, not a disease. We take freedom, not a state tyranny. Freedom is a choice. Choice is a creation. Always choose the third.

How Enlightened Are You?

A Test:

Well. . .

If you can live without caffeine or nicotine;

If you can be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains;

If you can resist complaining;

If you can understand when loved ones are too busy to give you any time;

If you can take criticism and blame without resentment;

If you can ignore friends' limited educations and never correct them;

If you can treat the rich and poor alike;

If you can face the world without lies or deceit;

If you can conquer tension without medical help;

If you can relax without liquor;

If you can sleep without the aid of drugs;

If you can have no prejudice against creed, color, religion, gender, sexual preference, or politics

Then you have almost reached the same level of spiritual development as your dog : )

Let the awesomeness flow

We are pipes with the divine power to channel through the awesomeness of the universe that is always and everywhere present, already.
Everyone of us, without exceptions, has in his hands the great power to make the choice to manifest it or not; to let it flow or stop it.

Cultivation on the way to vibrate and resonate in that state, is just cleaning the pipe out from old rubbish and keep it clean from clogging again.
The egoless state research is, in my humble opinion, an useful cleaning tool.
